Major technological changes from last generation of iMacs

All
1) RAM Memory moves from 256MB to 512MB
2) More advanced Graphics Card with twice the amount of video memory
3) Ethernet moves from maximum of 100BASE-T to 1000BASE-T
4) Airport Card now standard instead of optional
5) ) Built-in wireless Bluetooth now standard instead of optional

Low-End Model
1) Processor speed moves from 1.6 GHz to 1.8 GHz
2) Bus Speed moves from 533 MHz to 600 MHz
3) Hard Drive moves from 80GB to 160GB
4) Combo Drive CD-RW Write is slower than previous model

Mid-Level Model
1) Processor speed moves from 1.8 GHz to 2.0 GHz
2) Bus Speed moves from 600 MHz to 667 MHz
3) Hard Drive moves from 80GB to 160GB
4) SuperDrive now writes to Dual Layer media DVD-RW and medial. Drive is generally faster

High-End Model
1) Processor speed moves from 1.8 GHz to 2.0 GHz
2) Bus Speed moves from 600 MHz to 667 MHz
3) Hard Drive moves from 160GB to 250GB
4) SuperDrive now writes to Dual Layer media DVD-RW and medial. Drive is generally faster
6) Price drops $100

The Graphics card is the same as the previous generation. It will be interesting to see how the better processor and faster Bus speeds influence graphics performance.
