Major technological changes from last generation of iBooks:
12" iBook
1) Processor moves from 1.2GHz to 1.33GHz
2) Hard drive increases from 30GB to 40GB
14" iBook
1) Processor moves from 1.33GHz to 1.42GHz
1) Bus Speed moves from 133 MHz to 142 MHz
1) SuperDrive now writes DVD±RW discs and the drive is faster
2) Price on high-end model drops $200 (middle model of last generation is dropped)
Both
1) RAM Memory doubles from 256MB to 512MB
2) RAM Type moves from PC2100 to
PC2700
3) Maximum RAM capacity increases from 1.25GB to 1.5GB
4) New video card
5) Airport & BlueTooth wireless now come installed as part of the package
