I have a G5 dual 1.8 Ghz tower and I'd like to see how it compares to a MacBook Pro 2.0 Ghz dual core MA464LL.
I do a lot of video work using Apple Pro apps - Final Cut Pro, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, as well as audio recording and editing. I'm considering replacing the G5 with the MacBook and using it with my 23" Apple monitor at home, and dumping my aging PowerBook, which won't even run Prop Apps, when on the road.
