The Performance Edge: G3 Upgrade Cards May Be Down But They're Not Out - PowerLogix's Price Cuts And The Price/Performance Equation

PowerLogix has knocked $50 off three of their G3 upgrade cards. Two of them are for pre G3, PCI based Power Macs and Clones and one of them is for ZIF based, G3 Power Macs (see below for compatible machines). These card run at speeds of 500 or 400 MHz.

Below we explore what performance gain you will see with these cards installed in the machines they are made for. We also take a comparative look at the price/performance equation of each card.
